Share Your Voice with Chaitomin

Welcome to Chaitomin—where chai meets creativity, and every recipe tells a story. Founded by the ever-curious and tea-obsessed Othrian Kelvayne, Chaitomin is more than a website, it’s a steeped journey of flavor, imagination, and identity. Based at 2032 Wood Duck Drive, Iron Mountain, Michigan, our editorial soul is brewed each day from 9 AM to 5 PM, infusing spices, culture, and voice into every article we publish.

We believe food is more than sustenance. It’s memory. It’s connection. And flavor—spiced with story—becomes unforgettable legacy. So here at Chaitomin, we invite writers, culinary dreamers, chai lovers, recipe rebels, and cultural storytellers to share your voice. Whether you grew up sipping spiced tea in bustling kitchens or just discovered a love for cardamom-infused pastries, we want your perspective. Honest, playful, nostalgic, grounded—voice matters. Yours especially.

If you’re ready to infuse the world with your tea-steeped creativity, this is your chance to stir the pot.

Why Write for Chaitomin?

We’re not looking for filler content—there’s already too much noise online. We’re searching for true stories told from the heart of the kitchen. Articles laced with flavor and perspective. Chaitomin celebrates writing that stirs more than pots; it stirs readers.

When you write for us, you contribute to a shared table of knowledge, discovery, and community. Your recipes may inspire someone’s next dinner. Your reflections may bring warmth to a stranger who brews chai on rainy mornings just like you do. Our audience values meaningful content—and that’s exactly what you’ll bring.

What We’re Looking For

Your writing doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to be honest, fresh, and flavor-forward. We’re interested in:

  • Chai-centered recipes: From traditional masala chai to inventive pink peppercorn-infused brews.
  • Spiced fusion creations: Think saffron-swirled ice cream or cardamom honey cookies.
  • Culture meets kitchen pieces: How your heritage, travels, or upbringing meets the kettle.
  • Infused inspirations: Tea in food, steeping tips, ingredient storytelling, flavor pairings.
  • Profiles and tributes: Feature an unsung tea master, your grandma’s chai rituals, or the story behind a teacup collection.

And if your content doesn’t quite fit these boxes—but still celebrates tea-infused living and cooking—pitch it. Surprise us. We love being surprised.

Writer Guidelines & Contribution Process

We welcome submissions from voices around the world and from all backgrounds. Whether you’re a published journalist, a food blogger, or a passionate home cook, we’d love to see your work.

How to Submit

  • Pitch or full piece: You can send a completed draft or a short pitch describing your idea.
  • Clarity & originality: Please ensure your submission hasn’t been published elsewhere.
  • Word count: Most of our articles run between 800–1,200 words, but we’re flexible. We value storytelling over length.
  • Supporting visuals: If you have high-quality, original photos for your recipe or story, even better.
  • Citation & authenticity: Stick to what you know, and if you reference historical or cultural information, cite your sources thoughtfully.

To submit or ask a question, simply email us at [email protected]. We aim to reply to all submissions within 7–10 days. If your piece is selected, our editorial team will work with you to gently shape it for publication—while protecting your voice every step of the way.

The Benefits of Joining Chaitomin’s Contributor Community

We know that time + love goes into every article. Contributors to Chaitomin gain more than a byline—they gain readership, respect, and real connection.

  • Exposure: Your work will reach a passionate, engaged audience who love tea, food, and cultural storytelling as much as you do.
  • Editorial support: We’ll help your words shine through light-touch feedback, not red pens.
  • Author bio spotlight: We feature contributors with a bio and optional link out to your blog, social media, or website.
  • Community inclusion: You’ll be part of a growing movement of writers uninterested in fluff and obsessed with flavor.

Still Wondering If You’re a Good Fit?

Start here: Do you see an earthy copper mug and think, “That needs a spiced turmeric latte in it?” Do you measure cinnamon by eye because you trust your memory more than your spoons? Do you believe flavor exists not just on the tongue, but in the history and relationships that surround it?

If yes—you belong here. If no—but your curiosity is piqued and you care about meaningful, creative food writing—you belong here, too. All we ask is that you bring care, clarity, and a compelling angle.
